Our Story Starts with Diamonds

We are private jewelers with a life-long fascination for pink gemstones. As one of the rarest and most expensive natural gemstones, pink diamonds are also the purest of colored diamonds, containing no other element than carbon. While blue diamonds and yellow diamonds get their color from impurities, the gorgeous hues of pink diamonds—which range from vivid fuchsias to pale peach—is achieved only through additional time and pressure. Years ago, while searching for natural pink diamonds for a private collector, we were introduced to the magic of lab grown diamonds. A spark was ignited within our minds to bring these products to the world.

Serāre Pink Diamonds are created in a laboratory. They do not incur the same ecological impact of mined stones. Because they are not removed from the earth with explosives or heavy equipment, they are also free of micro-fractures, making the gems strong–just as strong as ancient diamonds that were found on riverbanks before the era of exploitative mining. This does not mean they are free of any imperfections. Just like natural stones, they may have inclusions and blemishes which must be identified and dealt with during the expert hand-cutting process. There is also far less of a human toll, as our lab created gemstones are completely conflict-free.

Some would say they are indistinguishable from natural diamonds. We say they are better in every way.

Each stone is individually selected, and each jewellery piece is handmade and hallmarked especially for you.

Serāre also offers lab created pink sapphires. The lab created sapphires have all the durable properties of natural sapphires, and are a great alternative to our diamonds.
